  5. Problem-based (using local problems), and
  6. Based on continuous research on the program's formative development.
The curriculum also makes use of international academic visitors not only as lecturers,but as experts helping students to specify solutions o their identified problems and to elaborate them towards working solutions, for the benefit of local end users.

PROGRAMME
The degree is aimed at developing five competency areas;
  1. Programming and Software engineering,
  2. Networking administration,
  3. Web developmentand e-business,
  4. Hardware and Software support, and
  5. General academic competency.
Strands of ethics and law, multimedia, robotics, team-working, interdisciplinary, innovation, leadership and management, sustainable planning, life-long learning, customer service, and global responsibilty are woven into a number of courses in the curriculum. Environmental issues, as well as issues of computing in challenging environments have their own courses in curriculum.
